Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Please telephone before 10.30am if you require a home visit.

You will need to give your name, address and telephone number and an indication of why you are requesting a visit. A doctor will usually call you back to further assess your request in terms of urgency and provision.

Early Visiting Service

Our local group of surgeries have changed the way home visits are undertaken. Most home visits will be sent to the Early Visiting Service, this is based in Witney but they have an Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) who will come and see you.  If you have requested a home visit and the GP decides that you will have a visit from the ECP you will be informed of this when the GP phones you. The ECP will deal with your condition and will then feed back to the GP who will decide on further care.
